TasteBud

About This Project

TasteBud is the answer to that tough question: what do I want to eat? Through answering a couple of questions, TasteBud will help determine food the user may be in the mood to eat, to satisfy their crave. Additionally, users will be able to create a profile in TasteBud so the app can better select food for their crave. By specifying what allergies the user may have, dietary lifestyle, age, and other data, TasteBud can give a more accurate answer so the user can always be happy with the result. Not only will TasteBud help users determine what to eat, but it will give you options of where to go to eat.

This project was the solution to an “I want X, but Y” question; “I want to eat, but I don’t know what I want”. TasteBud is meant to be a buddy to the user, and the design reflects this feeling. The design for this app was to be modern, casual, and energetic through the use of food icons, bright colors, and gradients.
